2019.03.20 トンガ王国向け全国早期警報システム導入及び防災通信能力強化計画受注 Conclusion of a contract: the Project for Introduction of Nationwide Early Warning System and Strengthening Disaster Communications

南洋貿易株式会社（NBK）は、独立行政法人 日本国際協力機構（JICA）の無償資金協力案件にて、トンガ王国向けに「全国早期警報システム導入及び防災通信能力強化計画」案件を、大日本土木株式会社とのコンソーシアムとして受注しました。本案件では、離島を含むトンガ全土において、災害警戒情報や安全情報に係る情報伝達の迅速化と、伝達対象範囲拡大を図る施設・機材を整備することにより、自然災害に対して脆弱性の高い当該国の防災・減災能力の向上を図ることを目的としております。
本プロジェクトの完工は2020年8月末を見込んでおります。

The Consortium of NBK Corporation and DAI Nippon Construction has been awarded the contract of the Project for Introduction of Nationwide Early Warning System and Strengthening Disaster Communications for the Kingdom of Tonga, Grant Aid provided by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on February 26th, 2019. 

The project aims to improve capability of disaster prevention and reduction for the recipient country with high vulnerability to natural hazards by installing and constructing of new systems, such as Emergency Radio Communication System, Early Warning Sound Alert System and MW Radio Broadcasting System. 

The estimated completion time will be in the end of August, 2020.
