2019.05.14 ミクロネシア連邦国コスラエ州電力セクター改善計画 引渡完了

2016年10月26日に当社が受注した独立行政法人日本国際協力機構（JICA）によるミクロネシア連邦国コスラエ州電力セクター改善計画案件において、2019年4月25日に無事引渡完了しました。
島嶼国であるミクロネシア連邦国では、主にディーゼル発電機により電力供給を行っていますが、設備老朽化に伴う発電効率の低下と燃料費の高騰により、国民の経済的負担の重さが課題となっています。コスラエ州では今後病院、学校の建設が予定される等、需要増加が見込まれています。
本案件では、発電所建設、新規ディーゼル発電機導入（2台、総発電量1,200kW）、レラ地区配電網整備、空港エリア配電網強化を行いました。効率的・安定的な電力供給の確保、国民の生活改善、経済発展および環境問題対策に寄与します。

 

Successful Hand-over of the Project for Power Sector Improvement for the State of Kosrae in the Federated States of Micronesia

We, NBK Corporation, are pleased to announce that we have successfully completed the hand-over of the Project for Power Sector Improvement for the State of Kosrae, Grant Aid provided by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), on April 25th, 2019. 
This project aims to improve power generation efficiency that has been declined due to obsolete facilities. Together with soaring fuel prices, the inefficiency has brought about a high economic burden for the citizens. The state of Kosrae is expecting an increased demand for electricity in the future, including new hospital and school construction plans.

We have completed the construction of a power generation plant, the installation of diesel engine generators (2 units, total 1,200kW) and power distribution facilities in Lelu, and the reinforcement of power distribution facilities in the airport area. This project will contribute to an efficient and stable supply of power and the improvement of living, leading to economic development and environmental measures in the country.
