2018.08.21 マーシャル諸島向け建設機械用スペアパーツ供給完了

日本国際協力システム（JICS）の経済社会開発計画案件において、マーシャル諸島共和国へ日立建機の建設機械用スペアパーツの引き渡しが2018年7月に無事完了しました。本案件により供給されるスペアパーツは現地の公共事業省に納入され、故障した既存の建設機械の修理に使用されます。同国では、生活必需品の多くを輸入に頼っていることもあり、恒常的な貿易収支の赤字が問題となっています。本案件は、このような厳しい状況にあるマーシャル諸島へ必要な資機材を調達し、同国の更なる繁栄と安定に貢献することを目的としております。

Successful Completion of Japan's Grant Aid for the Economic and Social Development Programme for the Republic of the Marshall Islands

We, NBK Corporation, are pleased to announce that Japan's Grant Aid for the Economic and Social Development Programme for the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), Grant Aid by the Japan International Cooperation System (JICS), has been successfully completed in July 2018. 

This project aims to bring further prosperity into the recipient country by the procurement of spare parts for malfunctioned construction equipment with the support of Grant Aid from the Government of Japan. The existing HITACHI construction machinery, which had been severely deteriorated, required repairs after years of its procurement. 

RMI has huge and increasing trade deficits, which have hindered economic development, resulting from limited exports and dependency on imports for consumer and capital goods. This project can be an integral part to reduce such critical issues, contributing to economic growth in the country.
