2020.11.24 パプアニューギニア独立国向け経済社会開発計画案件受注 Conclusion of a contract: Japan’s Grant Aid for the Economic and Social Development Programme for the Independent State of Papua New Guinea (FY2018)

南洋貿易株式会社（NBK）は、一般財団法人 日本国際協力システム（JICS）「パプアニューギニア独立国向け経済社会開発計画(FY2018)」案件を受注しました。同国は、気候変動や自然災害に対する脆弱性を抱える一方、災害発生時の防災体制の不十分さにより大きな被害が発生しています。この案件では、道路整備の為の建設機械等を供与することにより、寸断された道路の整備や被害を受けたインフラの復旧の支援とともに、将来の同様な災害に対して緊急に対応できる体制支援の強化に貢献します。

NBK Corporation has been awarded the contract, Japan's Grant Aid for the Economic and Social Development Programme for the Independent State of Papua New Guinea (FY2018), by the Japan International Cooperation System (JICS) on September 30th, 2020. Having been vulnerable to climate change and natural disasters, the country has been suffered from massive damages with the inadequate disaster prevention system. By procuring construction machinery to the country, the project aims to provide maintenance for the disrupted roads, help the recovery of the affected infrastructure, and support its emergency countermeasure system against the similar disasters in the future.
