We are NBK Corporation. NBK stands for Nanyo Boeki Kaisha which means Pacific trading. This company was established in 1890 by group of Meiji restoration developers that include General Enomoto Takeaki and a famous economist and businessman, Ukichi Taguchi.
This spirit was carried on by Tokuichi Kuribayashi in 1930s for further development with networking of logistics throughout the Pacific. We have the spirit, tradition and pioneership ever since then.
Our business region is not limited to Pacific region it is also expanding to Asian counties as well as Caribbean countries. The theme of NBK is always the same, our goal is to make sustainable development with strong partnership in each country and area so that we can make a better future.
Our business lines include distribution of automobiles, heavy equipment, machinery, food and beverages, cement, rebar and all the other construction materials, and special needs such as desalination systems, generators, and plastic oiling system and etc.
Our strength is to promote and to implement such projects as construction of roads and transportation systems, construction of hospitals and schools, and so forth. And also our strength is connected on ship building industries. The type of ship ranges from ferry, patrol ships, and to tug-boats. And also we are keen on all the other infrastructural projects such as water distribution system and waste water sewage system. And those projects are national or international projects funded by various institutions such as JICA and UN and so forth.
